Life Supporting Technologies (LifeSTech) is a research, development and innovation group, part of UPM. Its activities are devoted to the design, development and evaluation of ICT based services and applications, for the creation and promotion of new ideas, methods and technological solutions throughout the value chain of e-Health and e-Inclusion related organisations. The main group skills are devoted to the design, development and evaluation of ICT applied to Health, Ambient Intelligence and independent living, including consultancy, design, development and evaluation, technological architecture, business process engineering, and system development and integration.
Role in BD2Decide
UPM leads the technical activities of BD2Decide and is specifically responsible for the establishment of the semantic framework and for the overall technical design of the system. Giuseppe Fico is the Technical Manager of the project.
